With 14 years worth of client data, activities, notes & attachments - there was a lot of data to be cleaned and migrated.
While ACT! CRM had served Australian Traveller Media well for the last decade, it was beginning to show the signs of its age. A large number of attachments meant that more often than not, their CRM system would crash whenever it tried to load a record.
ACT! runs on a Microsoft SQL Database, and with access to their on-site server, we were able to complete a migration of all Australian Traveller Media's historical data.
Over 63,000 individual records were uploaded into Salesforce Sales Cloud. The Trausteknik team were even able to recover embedded images in historical emails and make them available to the Australian Traveller team.
The migration of data was completed over a weekend with no impact to business operations.
Salesforce Training commenced at 9am, Monday morning. With coffee in hand, the Australian Traveller Media team dove into their new CRM with the full support of our team.
Once a few days of data had been entered into the system, dashboards and reports were set up to showcase team performance and progress towards business goals.
